Ford Green Hall

Took my dad out for a couple of hours this afternoon. We didn't go far, in fact we never left Stoke-on-Trent, but we certainly went back in time.

We visited Ford Green Hall which is the oldest house in Stoke-on-Trent - a 17th century timber-framed farmhouse. I've driven past it many times but had never been inside until today.

We also wandered around the nature reserve next to the house, part of it is known as the Ford Green Reedbed, a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).
