Turnstones
Out early to cycle to Wardie Bay to swim. Calm and sunny when I got there, an hour or so from high tide. Lots more seaweed on the beach and in the water than last week. Turnstones feeding on the tideline, even after more people arrived. Sea haar came in as I was in the water, and a NE wind got up.
Sun came out again later on; took newspapers out to read, though there was a breeze. Walk later to Victoria Park; tea and a shared Empire biscuit. Lots of small children and dogs, some on bicycles of varying sizes.
