Cow parsley
To those of you who know your plants, you'll realise there's not a whiff of cow parsley in this flower bed. (And yes, you'll have spotted that here at La Caumette, the home of pick-axe gardening, we like to keep our beds rugged.) This morning 5000vines and I set to with a vengeance, two pairs of gloves and a couple of forks and a mere two hours later these little lovelies had emerged from the field of nodding, white, frondy, cow-heads. In the next few days the plants will be surrounded by some rather glamorous mulch and we weeders may be able to stand up straight again. Good job!
