Beer with a view

We both had a fantastic sleep in the new tent so up early, and strolled the couple of miles along a canal towpath into Llangollen.

After a few hours exploring we retired in the early afternoon to the rather splendid Cornmill pub. It has a terrace hanging over the river all along the back and we got a table right at the edge. This was literally taken by not even moving out of my chair.

Unfortunately it was rather hard to tear oursleves away from such a stunning view and as a result we only vaguely remember walking back along the canal in the evening :)
