Sliders

Family left this morning - Jo and Greg to Maghull to Greg’s parents; the other three, plus Hazel, home to Sevenoaks. They are all back now, despite some heavy traffic.

I just caught Ella as she was waiting with Hazel before getting into the car. Note the cap, much beloved. (Mum is very pleased as she has never been able to persuade Ella to wear a cap before). Note also the ‘sliders’ / ‘sliders with socks’ - you learn so much when in the company of Gen Z!

It’s been a lovely couple of days, lots of good food and great weather. And it’s been nice for Ella to be centre of attention on her own for a change.

We abandoned most of the tidying up and went out for Sunday lunch! We’ve just watched Ali Smith at the Edinburgh Festival (online) - excellent!
