Betton Grange again
This morning we did one of my favourite walks, across Kelling Heath from Holgate Hill to Weybourne station and just far enough beyond to make the walk four miles. A nice mix of heathland, woodland and farmland, with a couple of short but steep hills and a lot of it next to the North Norfolk Railway.
I'd thought I might get a shot of Betton Grange at Weybourne Station but it didn't appear; apparently there had been a problem at Sheringham which was 'not the engine'; I can only assume it was a problem with one of the carriages. I managed this shot of it later though, as we were walking back to the car. This group turned up just as it was approaching and stood in front of me to take their pictures; if I'd been looking for the perfect shot I might have been a bit irritated but instead I thought it caught the moment. Not sure I'd have said that if I'd been looking for the perfect view though.
I've added a couple of extras for the fungus lovers; not unusual but nice and fresh.
