The Gherkin reflected

Late morning I had a good walk around The City and, being Sunday, it was deserted. Along the way I stopped at The Gherkin, (officially 30 St. Mary Axe) which mostly comprises office space. There are many photos of this iconic building of 2004, but what caught my eye was a reflection of The Gherkin in a much older block opposite called Holland House. Also office space, it was completed in 1916. So, for today’s blip, here’s a reflection of the contemporary Gherkin in this older, stunning GradeII listed building.
