One of those days

Munch

A teeny tiny yellow ladybird with 20? Spots on the end of, oh what’s that? Oh yes - a large marrow. One of many we’ve picked today. Despite the heat the glut continues unabated. Luckily we are surrounded by people who are willing to suffer enjoy yet more courgettes…

A nice West Kirby coffee this morning with RM and the VS. A quick trip to the bookshop to offload some marrows on the boys (mwahaha) but it was very busy so we didn’t stop long - though VS managed to pick up a couple of books in a couple of minutes. A good skill to have :)

The Bo is playing a footie tournament for a second day in Liverpool (rather him than me in 26 degree heat and no cloud cover) so he went off there and I called on MsMoss where we enjoyed a lovely catch up and swapped marrows for apples…and somehow I also came away with a bowler hat. I still definitely got the better deal there.

Lunch was courgette bread…it never ends.
