The Bossa Nova.

Who remembers the dance?
Early 1960s. 
I used to love the rhythm.
Favourite song was ‘ The Girl from Ipanema’
Then I remember ‘ Blame it on the Bossa Nova’.

Well if you are wondering what that has to do with my Blip photo, it is because this begonia is 
Begonia Boliviensis, Bossa Nova orange.
I grow it every year in a tall terracotta Ali Baba pot.
It provides a splash of colour in part of the garden which doesn’t get any sun. for many months, right up until the first frosts.
A plant you can grow anywhere as it thrives in full sun or shade and is tolerant of drought or rain.
Perfect for our climate at the moment.
