Mighty oaks...

.....from little acorns grow.
The acorns are, like many other forms of nature,  very early this year.   They are big and plump and hopefully will carry the many animals and insects that survive from them through our winter to come.
Blissfully a much cooler day yesterday, l felt energised.
I am out early today as heading north to prettily named RSPB site  Summer Leys.  I am not expecting to see a huge amount of birds in this hot weather but perhaps some butterflies and dragonflies.
