Hayburn Wyke
We set off in the other direction this morning. We picked up the Cinder trail at Ravenscar and walked to Hayburn Wyke. It was an easy walk along the old railway tracks. The pub at the end looked lovely but we thought if we stopped at the furthest point from home, we'd never make it back.
We returned via the Cleveland Way and enjoyed seeing clouds of peacock butterflies along the coastal paths. A great walk with some steep sections. The photo is taken from a very welcome bench that we came across after a steep uphill section.
We had some rain when we got back but the upside was a fantastic rainbow that formed over the hill behind our house.
