Hood ornament

On my walk this morning, I spotted this unusual hood ornament on a truck parked by the side of the road. It was a mix of weather, a bit of rain then it cleared up and we had some sun. Looks like we might get more rain. We had a good amount yesterday and overnight, and we could use more.
A busy few hours of cooking when I got home. I roasted cherry tomatoes, pureed them, and combined them with ingredients for pasta sauce that were cooking while the tomatoes were in the oven: garlic, mushrooms, onions, celery and spices. Looking forward to having the sauce with tortellini for supper. I also roasted bigger tomatoes, pureed and froze them for future recipes. More figs were halved and roasted. They're in the freezer now and will be packaged later. They taste better than ones we've dried in the past, so that will be the way I'll preserve them now. I also made two loaves of zucchini bread. G took one up to Bill.
Time to relax now.  :-)
