Carnival

Notting Hill Carnival is one of my favourite events of the year.

I've lived in the area pretty much for 30 years and always make sure I go on at least one of the two days.

Don't be afraid of Carnival, there's no more crime than there is at any other festival. Do get stuck in and dance. It is busy and don't wear your best clothes as paint flies around as does chocolate.
