Shubie Locks

Yesterday we took the canine fur children to the historic Shubie Canal Locks and associated park in Dartmouth, NS. Lots of off leash trails for them to run, and they even have an off leash beach for the little, and big, rascals. We've been concerned with Kerby's lunging at other dogs when walking the streets of Kentville, but he, along with his sidekick Bugsie, were awesome.

Lots of photo opportunities, besides the many dogs romping in the water. This is one of five, all now dysfunctional locks, that line a canal between two lakes. Kayakers and canoeists would have a blast!!!!
