Celebration
Train down to Kyoto today. The more traditional side of Japan.
Walking around the city we saw a Geisha, but she very quickly ran inside after everyone started taking pictures of her.
The hotel we stayed in was amazing. Very traditional - sliding doors, roll out beds on the floor etc etc (i'll eventually get non-blip-worthy images up onto flickr, incase you wanna see more)
In the evening Mum and I went to the temple outside our hotel as I wanted pictures of these lanterns, but ended up getting caught up in a Shinto celebration features hundreds of people lifting up three large shrines and running around with them. Pretty cool to see!
