Sheep Need Shade

Some of Rodrigo's sheep, and his sheepdog, in the shade of one of his holm oaks. Walked into market this morning, but it was an ordeal - 41C (106F) today, and much the same tomorrow. At least our bedding and towels were toasty dry, and pillows disinfected in the sun. 

Gratefuls:
- no large wildfires near us; talked to a colleague up north, in Vila Real, they have had a fire burning on a ridge they see from their window for eleven days now; can't open windows because of the smoke and ash (they don't have air con, as most folk don't); good news today is that that fire is now under control
- a big salad for lunch, with over ten plants, plus eggs and tuna
- misters cooling the air, or me, if I stand under them
