Welcome home

Our friend and 3 of his mates have done a charity walk this week. Birmingham to London over 5 days- the distance totalled by Graham Gooch's runs during his cricketing career. 8900 runs=111 miles!

They completed the challenge today finishing at the Oval in time for the start of The Ashes.

This evening some of us gathered at the local cricket club where our kids play to welcome him home- his wife was very pleased to see him!

He's raised loads of money for a great cause in memory of a friend of his who passed away a couple of years ago. Well done KP!
