The Wild Boar Circuit
A walk up one of my favourite local footpaths to check on a geocache that I have taken over from someone else, and the last visitors couldn't find. As they had 15,000 previous finds under their belt, they are pretty expert , so I assumed it must have gone missing. Wandered slowly up to the cache, two walking poles, a bad knee and a replacement cache. The cache had not gone missing at all. Never mind they caused me to have a delightful walk , good views and tourists on the way to chat to. I feel very smug when they ask me if I've come far ( its my Southern accent) and I tell them this is my local favourite walk.
I liked the old LDNP sign on the gate warning me of livestock. Fortunately I didn't encounter any even though there was recent evidence of their presence on the path.
PS the hospital gave me a steroid injection in my knee on Wednesday. I can bend the knee now but its still sore.
PPS the path is named after the walking map provided by the local pub- The Wild Boar Inn
