Fallow Deer
The long-awaited, urgent MRI scan of my husband’s spine finally took place this morning. This was followed by a routine visit to the eye clinic. He was finally delivered to the clinic an hour late, after much chasing by me. Apparently, we had not organised this; I think the ward clerk was not doing her job properly. The doctor and the nurses all knew it had been asked for. Eventually I was asked to go and get him, so I went into Clinic 3 again to explain why he was so late; they rang the ward. Five minutes later a nurse brought him to the clinic. Their other excuse? They are very short of porters!
Today’s picture is of one of our Fallow Deer, grazing in the orchard.
The temperature today – twenty-eight degrees Celsius
