Aphrodite

A mostly cloudy day, but the sun has broken through for some late afternoon sunshine!  And the cooler temperatures lured me out to the front garden to get some salvias planted so just need to keep those well watered while they settle in!

And then this afternoon we've been at a family friends' house for a BBQ as the Dad is 80 so we were all invited - my brother, sister-in-law, nephew and Bailey the dog drove over from Surrey for it too (my niece was working all day!) so was lovely catching up with them for a couple of hours before they headed back home again!

And this might just be my favourite Dahlia this year - Aphrodite'! Just wish it had more blooms on it as there's only this one so far!
