Robin's pincushion
We had a wander up the road this afternoon (Friday) ..... less humid thankfully but still some lovely sunshine :-)
Came across this & thought it would make a good blip :-)
Robin's pincushion is a round hairy growth that can be seen on wild roses. It is caused by the larvae of a tiny gall wasp (Diplolepis rosae) that feeds on the host plant, but causes little damage. The larvae live in the hardened centre of the gall.
Extra ~ the Elderberries are ripening well.
Hope you all have a Tigger-tastic weekend .... stay safe :-)
