I’ve taken to using beer as the liquid in my breadmaking at the moment. It gives extra flavour as well as ensuring that the dough rises well. This one is from a local brewery in the Chilterns, with a lovely nutty flavour.
The bread mix needs 350ml of liquid and the beer comes in 500 ml bottles, so just enough left over for a baker’s nip :)
