A fracture

I had my visit with the knee specialist today and it turns out that I did indeed fracture my knee when I fell.  They took new X-rays and it was easy to see the fracture when he pointed it out to me.  It's very fine, although it goes quite a long way, but since I'm not having pain at this point the best thing is just to be careful about what I do with the knee and get a fresh set of X-rays in six weeks and see how well it is healing.  It's a relief to finally know what's wrong, even if there's not much to do about it.

It rained today, so I wasn't able to go out on the terrace to photograph garden  flowers.  But here is an unreal flower wreath that is bright and striking.
