Who rules the roost

I woke up a little worse for wear this morning. I glanced out the window and saw this pigeon perched on top of the stack of chimneys and I just really liked it. It reminded me of way back when I used to do more minimalism.

I had the shot sans birds in the background, also, but I like the implied competition between them all in this capture.

I didn't have my slr with me, unfortunately.
