Poppies

…………………………………………for VJ Day, the latest incarnation of the postbox topper.

A pot of soup made before the wee one arrived this morning and after a soup and sandwiches lunch he watched a little TV whilst I started sorting the pots out to try to keep them watered whilst I’m away. We then took a walk up to see my Mum who hadn’t been feeling very well earlier in the day and had needed a visit from the paramedics to ascertain there was nothing untoward wrong. She was probably more alert than of late and did take an interest in the little one but was very tired and seemed quite agitated when she nodded off. We only stayed about 40 minutes before walking home again.

After tea we had a quick walk around the block to visit the bottle bank and post a letter…which was when I found my blip. He’s been bathed, had supper, two Hey Duggees and is now onto David Attenborough which is supposed to get him to sleep!
