Hanging On

A flower from the bouquet Ruby bought me last week, the bunch is doing well despite the heat and it still has a few days of life left in it.

Slept in the guest room last night because Tim and Adele are coming for the weekend and these days l give them my room to sleep in. I actually really like the guest room and it’s cooler.
I washed the bedding yesterday and made their bed up. Doing my cleaning either after ten at night or early morning to avoid the heat.

Did the shopping and a bit more tidying in the garden but it still looks awful.
l tweaked my back on Wednesday when Rebecca and l did the ruthless pruning and l’m still having a twinge or two today. I walked slower than usual yesterday when we had our beach walk with Ronnie but still did enough.
l am trying to listen to my body and not do anything without thinking. Anyway it’s not going to spoil my weekend.
