Repeat After Me

If you've been on my journal before, then you may be thinking that this flower looks a little familiar.
Didn't I just feature this Cosmos a few days ago?
Well, yes and... sort of.
This is a different flower, on the cosmos plant right next to the one I showed off the other day. I think of them as one plant really, so that's not a great excuse, is it?

No, the REAL excuse is... it was too hot again. Yesterday we had a lovely and consistent breeze, but today there was barely a whisper of the wind.
Five minutes outside I felt like my head was on fire!

I know, I should really stop complaining about nice weather. But trust me, I am not (this time) complaining, so much as explaining. Because it was so hot and still, I decided against the usual photowalk, and instead I stuck to our own garden.

And the best looking plant at the moment is...  You guessed it! The yellow Cosmos.

So, apologies if repeating myself is not sufficiently diverse for you. I understand, but it's a nice flower, and as much as I love Blipping, I am not going to suffer to achieve my daily photo.

I suspect most people don't mind seeing it again anyway. In which case this was a big waste of text, but I need to write something and on a day when I've done very little, this was all I could come up with.

Happy Friday, fellow Blippers. I will try not to repeat myself tomorrow.

Probably.
