Allotments

We were speaking to S’s Gardening chap this morning and he was telling us about his allotment in Dalbeattie so we swung past it to have a peek. The allotment area is new, the land only being given over in 2010 but it is a nice place to walk around and admire the fruits of everyone’s labours. This Well and Cairn is at the centre of the lots but I have no idea as to the significance of the relief of what appears to be the face of the Roman God Janus
