Respect..

Graduation is over, and we have returned.
My youngest daughter, now has the honour to serve with The Australian Defence Forces.
I am now, apparently just a civilian... I've never been called one of those before, I am at this point, not sure whether that's a compliment, or a slight. I think I'll just go with the former.
Having never been involved with this fraternity before, I would have to say my underlying opinion of the whole experience would be respect. I haven't been called sir, aah ever. Doors were opened and people would wait for me to pass through first.
It was a strange feeling, almost humbling.
And finally pride. My daughter is strong, self assured and has direction.
We are in good hands...
