Football Report - Glory Glory to the Hibees!

After the hurts of the past two days, it was good to watch some fitba on the telly. Hibernian were playing Partizan Belgrade in a Conference League quaifier. Our 2-0 lead evaporated in the first half due to some comic cuts goalkeeping. Happily Jordan Smith redeemed himself with some great saves in the second period. We were almost there when Partizan scored in the last minute of normal time. Thankfully we made it through in extra time. It was a roller coaster of a game. The highlight for me was the exquisite lobbed goal by Kieron Bowie. A thing of beauty. We feel relief and some pride that we are through to meet Legia Warsaw in the playoff.
 
PS  My back pain has mostly vanished. Only a slight echo of it remains.
