Sunday Chores

We had friends over for lunch today. We have been friends with them for about 19 years, having gone from training as Occupational Therapists together and car pooling to now having ended up living in the same suburb and with the Eldest in the same class as one of their lads. Lots of history!

Their eldest didn't come today. He is 16 and had some study he needed to do. He rang me to let me know he wasn't coming saying "I didn't want to come and have to tolerate you today. Decided to have a break". Love him! When he was at the local school he used to call in for a catch up on his way home from school.

We did have their 13 year old daughter who was very tolerant of playing with my two girls, plus her 8 year old brother and 4 year old sister.

Now we are up to the wind up for the week ahead.
