Hanging Basket 2

All the work of the good wife, Mrs I.

The garden is suffering in the heat but the baskets and pots are doing well.

A great day today.

A visit this morning from friends R and J, a sociable chat and lunch.

Then a meeting at the pub with neighbours J and M for Fishy Thursday.

We had a treat. They had a voucher for a free meal for four, being the first prize for winning an earlier quiz night.

Then another neighbour, also at the pub, bought us all a round of drinks.

We have had a great laugh, good chat and splendid food and drink.

A splendid end to a very nice day.

Mrs I is happy....
