Don't panic

This morning I was helping with an activity session at the Community Centre. We started with a Scavenger Hunt (items had to be strewn around the Centre and grounds) and the "firies" came and showed off their watering skills. The grass was soaked (and some people got a bit damp) and they watered the tubs for us.
We then went on to some games but by this time it was getting very hot so they didn't last long and people started going home.
It was 28.5C at 2pm but thin cloud which helped reduce the feeling of heat but a couple of hours later we had a thunderstorm and torrential rain and hail (though we missed the latter) and the temp dropped by 10C. That did mean we decided to go to the club's hill reps session - my legs will tell me all about it! The second lot of rain stopped just as we were starting.
Yesterday I ordered a new laptop, the current one was overheating, but guess what - it's been fine today! However, the battery is failing and I suspect the overheating issue will recure but I do have more time to get stuff transferred.
