Tessa and EcoArt

Today's the day ......................... to re-cycle
 
Tessa, Josie, Will and I called in at a great place in the middle of Kirkcudbright High Street today - called EcoArt.
 
It's a studio which is open to all, to come in and make something from the treasure trove of bits and pieces that have been donated.  There's a peaceful, tranquil air in the room - as people do come in off the street and sit for a while - sewing, painting, crafting and making.  There are things for sale too or you can make a donation that helps to keep the studio open.
 
It's all summed up beautifully in the EcoArt Mission Statement that reads as follows:  EcoArt creatively explores ways of reconnecting with the more than human world, seeking ways of opening up opportunities for human & planet flourishing, based on systems driven by values other than profit ................
