A day in the garden

I went to Coton Manor with my folks today. Beautiful garden and the added bonus of a quick hello to my sister in law who runs the lovely cafe there. Her homemade quiche is always excellent and today’s broccoli and Stilton was no exception . However I forgot my phone so have continued the theme with a picture of my parents garden looking fabulous.

I spent some time this afternoon reading through Folkie’s Blips this afternoon. The emotion of that was interrupted by my dad knocking on the window and motioning me to the back door whilst looking rather bloody. He had cut his hand gardening and managed to get blood everywhere including round his face. It was actually a small cut and easily sorted either a plaster and some antiseptic cream but cleaning up the trail of blood took a little while. So a distraction from my reverie before a quiet evening in front of the telly.
