A bag of 'stuff' deposited in the Hospice Charity depot this morning and then I had a walk round the walled garden. A group of volunteers were working very hard on the flower beds.

I don't know how parks and gardens would manage without the additional help of volunteer groups. There was a time when parks would have their own council gardening teams but the numbers are now stretched very thin in the gardens that are not, like t Pollok Park, tourist attractions.
