HatBox

Caught an early train and met HatBox in Canterbury. I enjoy that city. We visited a baby stuff supplies shop. Didn’t get much but learned a few things. Wandered around town. Had a scrumptious lunch in a tiny cafe garden and headed back to hers via a little walk down her local river.

Boy, the river was so inviting. We just paddled but there were loads of young people walking around in swimming things so there must be a popular swim site somewhere near by. Next time.

Back to hers to paint some shelves and build the pram. It’s such a perfect system. 4 big boxes to unpack. We only tackled 3 - the pram, the carry cot and the car seat. Such clever stuff.

A BBQ cooked by SkyeMan when his work was done and I headed back home. It’s a route I’m going to get familiar with when their baby is born. Not sure whether I’m going to drive or train it most. Love having the option and think Elbows might be able to fit in the odd day trip down around his work too. Joys.
