Back home
Today’s blip is of looking into Royal Quays Marina, Port of Tyne, from our balcony, just before we disembarked and headed home.
We were home by 11ish, despite the fact we had a deflating tyre on the car. Luckily, we made it ok, and Davy, at the garage managed to fix it within half an hour. Turns out it was a leaking tyre valve that they were able to replace, so all is well.
Now, sitting with Millie, who certainly seems to be happy we are back, catching up on Masterchef (such clever editing there to cut out two contestants). It’s a difficult one in light of recent events, however, just seeing how much effort and passion has been put in by contestants, and just how much it means to them, confirms my opinion that the BBC were correct to show this series.
If anyone is to blame, it is the ‘old boys network’ who have for years and years protected the so called ‘talent’ from consequences from their unacceptable actions.
It’s a tad warm here today, especially, since we had chillier and wetter weather in Norway.
I hope you have enjoyed today.
