Pretty ........

 .......... sure my hand shouldn't look quite like this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tripped over an extension cable in the garden, instinctively put out both hands when I fell and heard - and felt - a 'snapping'.

Seems I have fractured five bones in my wrist and also shunted them sideways - hence the weird shape and massive amount of swelling  -  not to mention the pain - aaaaargh.

Got to A&E at 17.30, x-rayed straight away, then sat and sat and sat.  Twelve hours later, I kid you not, I saw the doc ....... another three hours, whilst I was fully sedated and my wrist manipulated and plastered, I was finally released.  Fifteen hours!!!!!

Being a righty I am now trying to mouse left-handed and typing one handed.   Getting dressed/undressed is a nightmare.
In fact, all the things you do two-handed or dominate-handed, are virtually impossible.

I need more painkillers so that's it for today ..... I have photos for Monday and Wednesday but who knows when they will appear here.
