It Doesn't Get Any Better
On one stretch of road a tractor had 257 cars queued behind it!!
Elsewhere on the A39 five tractors shuttling back and forth between Wadebridge and St Columb caused mayhem and queues in both directions stretching for at least a mile.
Are you seeing a theme here.
I don't personally have anything against farmers but for the chaos they cause, knowing that they are taking these agricultural vehicles onto busy roads at peak times, they should at least pay the full excise duty on all their vehicles as well as full road tax.
For what reason would you need to drive a tractor with a 24ft trailer attached along 3 miles of the A38, through Liskeard and out towards Callington at 4:45pm?
