Pigeon?

A pigeon with strange coloured feathers. I took this from my kitchen window looking downwards. It’s a bit small but it caught my attention when I looked out.
Another hot day here and more to come.
It didn’t forecast rain but we did have a downpour in the afternoon. It was very humid in the heat.

* apparently there is such a pigeon as the Black Imperial Pigeon. Maybe this pigeon has inherited some of their genes.
