Meadow sweeping

I went with Chris and the girls this morning to do meadow sweeping for mini beasts at Itchen Valley Country Park. Laura found a cricket on her first attempt so was pleased with that. In fact, there were lots of crickets and grasshoppers around. They had a little pot to put them in and at the end of the session they were all released. Great activity for them.
In other news Caspar passed his driving test today which is really good news. He’s worked so hard at it, and deserved to pass. Hopefully this will make life easier for him in terms of starting college in September.
