Wednesday: Verbena Part 2
… this was last Saturday:

After breakfast I decided to “prick out” the Verbena seedlings, it was quite a shock when I started separating the very sturdy seedlings and after a couple of hours work I have:
3 trays with at least 1 seedling in each of 12 cells = 36
and
3 trays of 20 cells = 60
which by my reckoning is over a hundred tiny plants!!
Only one question: do slugs & snails like Verbenas? Seedlings are currently on the roof of my mini shed …
Watched recent episode of “Great British Sewing Bee” Series 11: Episode 5 - which is all about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle which includes a zero-waste jacket … there are books about zero-waste clothes making, in my teens and twenties I made most of my clothes, I even made a fully lined and fitted tweed maxi coat !!
A lazy afternoon of reading, watched a couple of George Gently episodes …
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
