Cormorant

A very hot and humid day, really quite uncomfortable. I had the fitter round this morning to look at the two blinds I had issues with. He sanded the end of one of the slats that was catching on my tile edge and it cleared it fine.....until he left! As it's been catching, it's also slightly bowed, he flexed it back and said it'd settle down. The cord length he can't amend as it's the law, I'm still not sure the manufacturer has interpreted that correctly, but I'm letting that go. I have something from Amazon to extend it, but I don't have the cord they've used and he can't help with that either, so back to Amazon. The en-suite blind I believe is very slightly out, but I'm not going to argue any more as it's marginal. I wouldn't use them again for blinds due to the manufacturer they use. I did two lots of washing which quickly dried outside and I ironed what needed doing this afternoon. Then late afternoon I went over to Cromer for a stroll on the beach at low tide. It wasn't as busy as I expected, I think the heat was too much despite the nice breeze on the beach. I always like to see the cormorants drying their wings and the dogs playing - see main and extra. It was around 31C today and is still 26C at 8:30.
