First time they’ve met. A nice calming touch as H has had some sad news about work. Time for a catch up over coffee. She went away with apples & apple cake for her parents. I then took apples & cake to Simone who fell & fractured her humerus in Greece 7 weeks ago. She’s probably got another 3-4 weeks off work. Dropped apples at our previous next door neighbours (not at home so left on doorstep). Lastly stopped for a cuppa with current next door neighbour who happily took some apples & cake. She swopped them for some figs from her tree. We shared our limited fig knowledge & promised more swopsies in the future. I’m hoping that the friend who gave her the tree can assist me with pruning advice.
