Happy Moments

A local view

Firstly my blip. Thanks to Bob for hosting widwed.
This a local view from the edge of Marske the next door village to us.
There were roadworks along the 174 on my way back from Middlesbrough today so I turned off and cut through a different route. Lo and behold a very convenient pull in for me to get my blip.

You can just see the band of sea after the harvested field. Actually there is probably more land between that field and the sea. On the right of the picture you might just be able to make out a cloud of dust or smoke. Not sure what that was about. I mention it because there has been, and possibly still are, moor fires down towards Scarborough which have been reported a lot on FB and BBC news I think. I will have to catch up later.

Callum went in for his knee op this morning. As of my video call with Nicoiseannie I still hadn’t spoken to him but of course he rang half way through. So apologies to her for the disjointed chat today. I’m sure she half expected it!

The op has been done. Apparently no problems, the surgeon did say his old one was knack… past its best. No surprise there of course.
He’s got painkillers; ice pack etc. At the time of speaking to him he was still in bed waiting to get feeling back after the epidural. Having spoken again to him a short while ago he is now sitting on a chair and watching telly.

Nicoiseannie and I did agree the TT hearts and HMs, but I’ve still got to walk the dogs yet (once the temp has dropped) so I’ll sort all that out tomorrow morning hopefully before I go and collect patient.
