Midweek Minute Mint Moth
Another baking hot day, and I went hunting for cheap SIM to send to a friend in Ireland who has another friend who's coming to the UK and wants to have a sim ahead of time.
But also taking photos, and while I often avoid the standard purple Cranesbills (they're lovely, but I have hundreds of photos now) I had to get a pick of this one.
If you take a look closely, you can see a tiny moth feeding. And I mean tiny!
If I remember from my obsession with entomology when I was around 10 years old (I had a stick insect, it made sense) I think it might be a mint moth. But I suspect if I am wrong, somebody will educate me in the comments and I edit this bit to look clever.
It's so tiny that I am going to put a heavy crop version in the extras just so you can see it properly (though I imagine that will be a bit less sharp).
Anyway, happy Woden's Day all!
