Busy Show Day

A lovely calm day, highs of 20⁰c, sunny most of the day, apart from a cloudy spell in the afternoon.  Looking cloudy this evening, with thunderstorms to the east.

A morning working with Larry.  We were on business paper recycling waste around Lerwick.  I had the afternoon booked off.  Headed down to Cunningsburgh this afternoon.  Working in the shop this evening, then feet up before bed. 

The perfect day for an agricultural show, calm, warm and started off sunny.  With the good weather, a massive turnout, must have been thousands through the doors.  Being the only show without a beer tent, it's Shetland's biggest show, a proper family day out.  Plenty of crafts, produce and animals on show, along with stalls, games and music. The ice-cream and eateries had huge queues.  Biggest part of the show, a proper social gathering and catching up with people from across the whole of Shetland.  This duller moment gave a cooler air for catching up with friends on the show field.  Looking over the crowds at the Cunningsburgh Show.
