Wide Wednesday - Local Scene
A familiar scene in the village of Drymen, Stirlingshire, with the iconic Clachan, apparently the oldest licensed pub in Scotland, on the corner of the square.
It is popular, not only with locals* but also with the thousands of West Highland Way walkers who pass through the village every year.By sheer chance I think I've caught a few of them just setting off.
Also in the scene, on the right, is one of the village B&Bs, and up the hill is the village hall.
Extra 1 - meet the new addition to P's family, Bunny, a gorgeous wire-haired dachshund pup
Extra 2 - MInty and Leo are still getting used to the pup
*Pal Christina and I had lunch and a good catch-up in the pub today.
