New Garden Seats

I have new wooden seats from Etsy, delivered a couple of days early and carried right through to the garden and placed where I wanted them. In a world where deliveries seem to go wrong more often than not, this was a pleasant change.

Emails have been less pleasing today; two from HMRC couched in their usual unpleasant tones laced with dark threats if you don't do this now, plus one from My.Gov One (new, beta site) requiring new security checks on all company directors (me) requiring opening their data on a PC, downloading a new government app on the smart phone and having passport/ driving licence ready as they cross check everything about you to 'keep the country secure'. A couple of hours of tech fun as the government app crashed a few times then timed me out .. begin again grrh!

At least you can all rest easy I'm now considered a legal and proper person.
